Hard Times (Paperback)
The book is or, rather, it was one of the lesser known novels of Charles Dickens. Over time, this narrative has attracted more and more interest from readers and critics. Perhaps this has happened not so much because of the plot, an argument that exhibits not a few features of serial literature, but because of the ideas that are discussed in it. The work deals with the history of a family and deals, above all, in a more general way, with how a philosophy, the utilitarian philosophy, shapes people's behaviors.
